Pierre Martin Hirsch looks at some new diagnostic aids for colposcopy and provides an interesting account of what they are and how they work
Colposcopy is very useful as a means to direct biopsies and treatment but the sensitivity and specificity of colposcopy even in well trained colposocpy limits its usefullness as a stand alone diagnostic tool. The developments of new diagnostic aids is really interesting but it can be hard to keep track of what each one does. This lecture provides a comprehensive look at these techniques and is definitely worth a view.
