ENHANCED HPV SURVEILLANCE IN YOUNG WOMEN WITH CERVICAL CANCER IN ENGLAND

Public Health England Public Health England are conducting ongoing enhanced HPV surveillance in young women with cervical cancer

The surveillance includes collecting tissue from cervical cancer cases diagnosed in women under 30 years old and testing these for HPV infection. A pilot study was conducted in 2014 and the full surveillance collection starts this year for cervical cancers diagnosed in 2013.Further details are available in the PDF summary at the below link.
