Cervical Screening Incident Scotland

Information on the Scottish cervical screening incident.

You may be aware of the recent cervical screening incident that occurred in Scotland. The RCOG and BSCCP sent out an information newsletter a couple of weeks ago. Please see below link:

General gynaecology colleagues and all trainees are reminded that it remains the responsibility of the operating surgeon to inform the woman and her GP of the type of hysterectomy she has had, and the required cervical screening follow up.
