BSCCP Approved Basic Colposcopy Course

Basic Colposcopy Course Day 1 and 2 

This is a two day theoretical course covering the curriculum outlined by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. This course will be suitable for all members of the Medical and Nursing Profession who play an active role in the management of Colposcopy Services and Cervical Screening. The Faculty lecturing on this course have a wide experience in providing Colposcopy and allied services. The speakers invited have both a national and international reputation in these areas. 

Day 3* - optional This is a practical one day course intended to complement the theoretical aspect of day 1 and 2 covering the areas within the BSCCP curriculum for cytology and gynecological pathology.

This day allows for sign off of both histopathology and cytopathology elements of the Training log for medical trainees. 

Training will be provided in the form of group discussions and practical exposure via multi-headed microscopy facilities. 

*You may only apply for this day if you also attend the preceding two day basic level theoretical colposcopy course.

The centre is situated in a commercial site in Silkwood Park close to Junction 40 of the M1. We are 20 miles from Leeds Bradford airport, 13 miles from Leeds City railway station and just 2 miles from both Wakefield railway stations.
