How best to integrate new approaches to cancer prevention including HPV vaccination and testing is an interesting question for our times. The solution depends on the population as well as available resources and health infrastructure. What works for one country may not be applicable to another population. IARC have been looking at these questions and have established research programmes to test different stratgies in South America.
