HPV self sampling
In this talk Jose Jeronimo updates us on the potentially useful application of new tests via self sampling techniques.
Cervical screening is traditionally performed using a speculum examination performed by a health care professional and while this has many benefits in terms of communication and education it can represent a barrier to screening for some women. One of the advantages of newer screening tools is the potential for self sampling which may be particularly useful for non attenders. This talk details the evidence so far.
