Histology is regarded as the gold standard in making a definitive diagnosis to inform management. The CIN classification has not been without its problems - especially in the diagnosis of CIN 2. This lecture looks at a new direction which attempts to produce a classification which allows for improved reproducibility of histological diagnosis.
