The psychological impact of HPV/Colposcopy

Cervical screening reduces the risk of cervical cancer through the detection and treatment of precancerous abnormalities. It is a process which can have associated risks including increased levels of psychological distress and worry. It is important that colposcopists are aware of these risks. In this talk Deirdre Lyons presents data on these risks.

This talk was presented to the annual scientific meeting of the BSCCP in Glasgow.
